Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood said recently that he was battling a rare small-cell carcinoma during the most recent lockdown but that doctors have now given him the all-clear.
This is the second time Wood has fought cancer. The first was in 2017 when he was diagnosed with lung cancer.
Wood said he smoked “25 to 30 cigarettes a day for 50-odd years,” until he finally managed to kick the habit several years ago.
