If Kid Rock really is running for Senate in Michigan, he’s clearly borrowing a page out of his pal Pres. Trump’s playbook when it comes to launching a political campaign with lots of smoke and fire. Because just like Trump announced his entry into the presidential race in 2015 with a bombastic press conference in which he opened up with both barrels on at Mexico, China and Japan, the Bull God appears to be heralding his entry into the realm of politics with guns blazing. Literally.
A day after a Kid Rock for Senate site launched amid claims from skeptics that it was possibly a promotional stunt for Rock’s new music — a claim Rock denied — Detroit’s finest dropped a pair of new songs and videos that might be the least likely entreé into the political sphere on record.
