U2 marked the 30th anniversary of their seminal 1987 album The Joshua Tree Thursday with the announcement of an expansive reissue out June 2nd.
The new box set will feature demos, studio outtakes, B-sides and a 1987 concert recording at Madison Square Garden. U2 also tapped several producers to contribute new remixes of album cuts, including Daniel Lanois, Brian Eno, Flood, Steve Lillywhite, Jacknife Lee and St. Francis Hotel.
U2 will embark on a world tour this summer during which they’ll play The Joshua Tree in its entirety.
