Three people with businesses took home prizes at the Small Business Awards event Thursday evening.
Danny Ahern, with Iron Horse Pub, won Small Business Person of the Year.
Armondo Luevano, with El Norteno, won Family Owned Business of the Year.
Finally, Nichole Kirk, with Dear Heart Designs, won Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
The event was put on by Midwestern State’s Small Business Development Center partnered with the Chamber of Commerce.
