Vicki Vox got her start in radio when she was in college.
Majoring in engineering she decided that was a great way to make
lots of money and why live life with money, so she quit engineering
and went into Communications as a senior in college.
She did an on-air internship for 1 year at KNAC.COM and was
then hired to do the midday shift of 10am - 3pm. Vicki had quite a following
making her show the most listened to internet
show of 2000, 20001.. She was
featured on the front page of the LA Times, The Long Beach
Newspaper and Spin Magazine.
She left KNAC after almost 5 years and came to Wichita Falls
to settle down, get married and have a herd of cats. She did
morning for a while for a pop station until she felt that was ruining her
reputation as a "bad girl" then
decided to go back to rock and never stop. Now
10 years into her career
she resides in the bear cave nightly and wants nothing more then to kick your ass
with rock n roll all night long.
Vicki is full of angst, frustration, sugar, caffeine and that's why we
love her. She speaks her mind, won't hold back, and loves nothing more then
to get a rise outta people. If you like kick ass rock, with a rock goddess
